Timmy is a 3-4 year old male Collie cross Pointer. Timmy was rescued in Cyprus and flown to the UK in the hope of finding his very own family and forever home. He is currently living in a lovely home in the Atherstone area whilst he waits for his new family to find him. Timmy has had a very sad life. He flew to the UK over a year ago and has struggled ever since to find his perfect home. Timmy needs his human to be an experienced dog owner who can help him learn what is expected of him.
Timmy is incredibly clever and a very quick learner. He loves to learn new things. He is a strong, large dog, who because of his previous bad luck in life, will need your help to learn what is expected of him and establish a good routine. He has had the occasional opportunity to live in a home and is housetrained.
Timmy needs a home with someone who enjoys being out and about. He loves his walks and would possibly excel at other activities such as being your jogging partner, agility or cani-cross. However as long as regular, fun walks, form part of his daily routine Timmy will be very happy with you. He walks well on his lead and interacts with people very well.
He can react to some dogs though so he needs someone who is experienced with dogs to help him work through this. Timmy enjoys being active and loves to play fetch with his ball. At the end of the day Timmy will be happy to snuggle on the sofa with you by his side! Timmy needs to be an only pet as he does not get on well with cats and does not like to share with other dogs. Timmy generally walks well on the lead, however, he can occasionally react to some dogs when he is out and about. So he needs someone who is experienced with dogs to help him work through this. Timmy enjoys being active and loves to play fetch with his ball. Timmy also loves food. This really helps with his training.
Timmy would love someone who can give him regular, fun walks and at the end of the day Timmy will be happy to snuggle on the sofa with you by his side! Timmy interacts well with people but is still a little rough and boisterous so needs a home with adults and possibly older dog savvy teenagers only. Timmy would also love a secure garden to play and relax in.
Timmy is a stunning boy who has a lot to offer his forever family and so much he wants to give. He will very quickly make a huge a paw print on your heart that you will never forget. He is ready to spread his wings and explore the big wide world now and wants his own special human(s) to do this with. He has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
