Tina – 2 1/2 year old female Yorkshire Terrier
Tina is a very small 2 1/2 yearold Yorkshire Terrier. She is very sweet and friendly and loves everyone but, due to her size, will not be homed with children as they could easily hurt her by accident. Tina enjoys going out for walks on a harness and lead, but also likes to be carried (which she has to be in crowds as she would get trodden on). She weighs only around 2kg.
Tina needs a home where someone is there all the time or can take her out with them as she hates to be left alone and will bark and howl for hours. She will be happy to share your bed and does live in a foster home with other small dogs and four cats. She is a little scared of large dogs. Although she is good with other dogs, she would also be happy in a home as the only dog where she can benefit from all the attention.
Tina still needs to work harder at house training as it is still a little hit and miss. She hasn’t quite got the idea yet, but does try hard to please you. She travels well in the car but will need a cat carrier or small dog crate to travel in as she is so eager to come with you she will jump out as soon as the door is opened.
Her ideal home with be with a newly retired person (or couple) who would like a little dog as a constant companion and would like a dog to cuddle, which Tina will happily do all day!
