Tinker
Tinker is a 12 years old who came from a pound in South Wales, he has been on foster with myself now for 2 months. When he arrived he had terrible breath, the reason soon became apparent when you looked at his teeth!
He has had some of these removed now and the others cleaned. After a vet visit it was discovered he has a small heart murmur, he is on Fortekor medication for this. He also limps on his back right side, he has had x-rays and a pin was discovered in his back leg, so it looks like he has had an operation and this has been left in, it has now been removed and his movement is becoming better daily.
Do not be fooled by this little old man, he is very bouncy and when you walk him on lead he jumps as he walks about 2 ft into the air! Everything is fun to Tinker, he just loves life. Tinker is great with other dogs, although he does not like larger bouncy dogs in his face, he adores children and will happily snuggle up with them.
In the mornings when i come downstairs Tinker greets me by jumping up and nipping me (without many teeth he doesn’t actually hurt!) , he only does this with me and never the children, but it is something to be aware of, its just pure excitement on his part.
