Tiny – 8-10 year old male Cross-Breed
Tiny is an 8-10 year old cross-breed boy who is currently in foster care in Wilmslow. He was taken from a house with 10 other dogs, all badly neglected and sadly 2 had to be put to sleep. Tiny was with another branch in kennels for a few weeks but he was not progressing so we took him into one of our foster homes where he has blossomed! Tiny has been wormed, flead, vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He has been on medicated shampoos for a flea allergy. He had several teeth removed and his nails clipped.

Tiny is the size of a long legged Jack Russell. He is not food possessive and he travels well, even though he’s grown massively in confidence he is still shy and timid of some people and needs a quiet calm home. Please read the following from his foster parents:
Tiny came to us several weeks ago and has relaxed well into our home. To start he was a very shy boy, he would come very hesitantly for a cuddle but was very wary. He is perfect with cats (in fact we had to watch that the cat didn’t bully him) and has never barked. He does wine when he passes other dogs as if to say let me play with them. He has a bed that he loves and spends a lot of the day snoozing. He is house trained but needs a definite routine for walks morning and early evening as this is the only time he will go to the loo. Not too long a walk though as he has short legs and a few years. He doesn’t for some reason go in the garden and is generally wary of this area. Having got him used to us and into a routine his cheekiness is starting to come through. He now runs out of his bed tail waging when encouraged to greet us coming in. He loves food especially chicken but will go to bed is asked to whilst you are eating. He is an extremely cuddly dog and now jumps up on the sofa to be with you through the evening. He has a lovely habit of slumping over you and putting his head on your shoulder as he snoozes.
To some up Tiny is a perfect low maintenance doggy. He is Very loving, but he will need to be loved and treated very gently or he will take many steps back. He is a quiet dog so wont be jumping around chasing balls. He’s a plodder and cuddler rather than a bouncer. I would say the perfect family for him would be older, no young children. We have taken him out with Sammie a 10 month golden retriever over the road. He does enjoy company of other dogs but is wary of really bouncy dogs. We are bathing him about once a week. Tiny is lovely. He will be the perfect pet in the right home.
