Toby – 7 month old male Collie cross Lurcher
Toby is a beautiful and distinctive looking 7 month old Collie cross Lurcher who is looking for his forever home. Toby was advertised on the notice board in a supermarket. He was living in a small top-floor flat with 3 other dogs until his owner decided to let him go. Unfortunately, the lady who took him out of this situation has since been diagnosed with an illness, and so felt that it was kinder to rehome Toby now, before she became too unwell to sort it out.
He’s very gangly now, but he’ll have a bit more growing to do. His owner has spent the last few weeks taking him to new places to widen his experiences. He’s now ok to be walked through the town centre and is ok with buses and lorries going by. Having spent time on a farm, Toby is great around all livestock. He is housetrained and knows his basic commands.

He’s a real water-baby and loves swimming, though he shows no fear and can sometimes get a little out of his depth! His only issue is around other dogs. He calms down fairly quickly, but an unfamiliar dog is greeted with lots of barking and fuss. This should calm down as age and experience take over. He is great with older children, and he absolutely adores cats!
