Toddy – 10 month old male Bedlington Terrier cross Whippet

Toddy is a very special Bedlington Terrier cross Whippet who is only 10 months old but has not had the experiences of most normal dogs. He came to us a very scarred and nervous lad. He has never been in a home and has never been walked out side in the fresh air. He didnt even know what carpet was or what the noisy thing in the corner was that has sound and pictures coming out of it (television). Life was just very very scary.

Slowly, Toddy is learning what all these things are and that he does not have to be scared any more. He is still very hand shy and is worried by new people. He is completley non agressive. He just chooses to run away and hide in his create, he enjoys the company of his doggy friend and we feel that he will need to go with another dog to help him come on. Toddy will need some one who has experience of Lurchers and also of nervous dogs. Toddy will need lots of time and patience to help him come out of himself.

He will need to be shown how to walk on a lead and be introduced slowly to the outside world. We would like some one who is around a lot of the time and no young children in the home, if you think you can offer this lad a forever home please give us a call.
