Topper – 2 year old male Greyhound

Topper is a 2 year old Greyhound who never made the racetrackHe stands at about 28″ at the shoulder. Topper loves attention! He is still quite immature but a big baby at heart and he loves a cuddle.
Topper is walking along nicely on the lead, we have been getting him out and about in as many different situations as possible and getting him meeting all sorts of dogs – large and small!

Topper loves to play ball and will bring it back to you! Topper would love a garden or be able to visit a safe field where he could have a good run and get up some speed! He is very responsive to his handler and will come back when called – Topper has also just started some agility which he is getting the hang of quickly! Topper is going to be a real fun dog for one lucky family. Topper is full of character and will make you laugh at his antics, he needs a good leader to put him on the right path, love him unconditionally and Topper will become a best friend and a wonderful dog.

*update*

Topper is doing wonderfully, he looks superb too, nicely covered with his grown up coat all through now and lovely muscles building. Topper really deserves a home now, someone is really missing out – he has so much to give and really does want to get bonded and settled with a family. Being in his current foster home has taught him some tolerance and he really has settled down so well, Topper currently lives very respectfully with a large pack of dogs – 2 of which are injured – Topper has proved himself to be more adaptable than we had previously given him credit for and he has been a pleasure to foster and watch him move towards being that wonderful dog we know he will be.

*update 27.11*

I am very sad and bemused to say Topper is still waiting for his home…. he is such a good boy and really deserves a home. Topper is walking out so well on the lead and loves to be your friend…. Topper is warm and comfy with us but he deserves to be loved by someone – come on that special home, ask about Topper he has waited too long now for such a characterful boy.
