Here is Trubbs, a 2 year old male Rhodesian Ridgeback cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier weighing in at around 40kg. Trubbs is very nice temperament. He is used to children of 6 years upwards. He is good with dogs, tends to lay down or sit if he is feeling threatened by bully dogs. Would chase a cat but more out of curiosity. He is off lead with good recall.
Trubbs can be left safely in the house for a period of 3 hours. He travels ok in cars. He pulls a bit but it’s more that being big and therefore heavy he just has to reach for a scent and it can feel like he’s pulling. Needs some training here. He is very playful and will listen to training, wanting to please. He will be neutered vaccinated and chipped.
Truffles finds himself looking for a home due to change in circumstances. The owner has had an operation and can no longer be expected to walk him in the near future, sadly. We are looking for a large dog experienced home. No special requirements other than commitment to training and continued socialisation. Food and insurance must be considered with any dog but particularly a large boy. I must say it is a ‘love at first sight’ dog for sure. He is a great looker and a dog that tugs straight for the heart strings with that special connection some dogs possess.
