Twingo is a 3 year old male Spanish Mastin. Gorgeous tan and white long coated Mastin boy standing at 71 cms tall and 100 cm long, weighing 51.5 kg. Twingo is a young, very handsome, active, playful dog with bags of energy. He loves being taken out and obviously, as he is young and strong, he will pull but only in the beginning. He calms down after a while and it’s easy to take him out. He likes to stay close to his person, he is trusting with every person he meets and very affectionate. He loves people and his favourite thing is getting head rubs! He is naturally obedient and loyal.
Twingo was brought to the Spanish pound in 2015 when he was just a puppy from an unwanted litter. He has spent all his life at the pound. He’s fostered for weekends, he is used now to travelling by car and to being inside a home. He is a good gentle boy and he deserves a new home soon. Twingo has never had any conflict with another dog in kennels. He has shared his kennel with male and female dogs; he is playful and sociable with all of them. He’s compatible with cats, we have a video where he is with a cat and he is okay. He likes children and he likes to cuddle. He is a gentle giant!
Fosterer’s report: We dont see him all week but when we do we are very fond of him. He is an active dog despite his size and he is, sociable, playful and very affectionate. He needs more work on housetaining but I guess the coming and going back to the kennels isnt going to help that till he gets into a proper home. He needs some time spent to learn basic obedience commands and improve in walks, all possible and easy when he gets a full time owner.

We can not home dogs from Spain to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough. Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
Adoption Fee : £265 – to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account
