Twinkle - 2 year old female Greyhound

Meet the beautiful Twinkle who is a 2 year old Greyhound girl who recently landed in our care from a veterinary hospital after being involved in a road traffic accident. Sadly the accident caused Twinkle to lose her leg and although the owners have been traced they are not interested.

Twinkle has now moved into foster care with 5 other hounds all of whom she gets on well with. Although Twinkle only lost her leg last Friday she is already doing well and up and about mobile even climbing onto the sofa. She has been clean in the house and slept overnight without a murmur confined to a crate to stop her damaging her leg. She is happy to settle, great with kids and an all round sweetheart.

Twinkle will make a lovely first hound but would probably be better suited either to a home with another dog for company or with someone around all or most of the time. Don’t let losing a leg fool you - Greyhounds manage very well without it and im sure this young minx will soon be leading everyone a song and a dance. Twinkle is spayed and will shortly be micro-chipped and neutered.
