Tye – 2 year old male Akita

This is Tye, a stunning 2 year old male Akita looking for a new home. Tye’s current owner has had a change in circumstances which has lead her to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome Tye to give him the better life he deserves.

Happy and playful, Tye was excited to meet our assessor, play bowing and wanting to play with his favourite ball, which he does retrieve, an unusual trait for an Akita!

He has experience of living with a 12 year old and a 16 year old child, with this in mind a home with older children would be considered

At the moment Tye does not have a regular walking pattern, due to this he does pull on the lead but it is felt that with frequent walks this would be rectified. He has not had contact with other dogs so the decision for him to live with a canine companion would depend on successful introductions.

Tye is house trained and non destructive, until recently he was living in the house, but recent circumstances have meant that he is now living outside with a kennel to sleep in.

Could Tye be the big softie to join your family? If so, please get in touch.
