Uncle Sam is a medium to large sized Cross-Breed of around two years old. Sam was one of a litter of twelve pups rescued from a public shelter in Romania. A rescuer friend was asked to pull them from the death camp and then left with them when the person who asked her quickly lost interest. Uncle Sam is fostered in Marsham (FR001).

Sam is a fun loving dog with a beautiful nature. Though still a little weary of human hands at times you will see from his pictures that he can be extremely loving and interacts well with people once he knows them. Sam loves his walks and is very playful with the other dogs in his foster home and those he meets out and about.
Uncle Sam needs a home with other playful dogs. He is a comical character with a lot of love to give but he needs the company of other dogs to retain his new found confidence. Sam is good on a lead and travels well in a car.
He has also lived very happily with cats and dog savvy children. Sam has been in our care for over a year now and it’s a mystery as to why he hasn’t been chosen. He would suit an active home and is a joy to have around.
