Ursula is a 5-6 year old female Brittany Spaniel we recently rescued from Spain. Her story is a very sad one. She was thrown out of the family home and kept returning but the owner subsequently kept throwing stones at her. She was taken in by the refuge and lived there till she has come to us to find a nice home for her here.
As a result of the stone throwing Ursula is a nervous dog when she first meets you but is a devoted little girl once she trusts, but it takes a bit of time to build that trust, so Ursula will need a patient home with an experienced family who are prepared to help her regain her faith in human nature. She is a lovely girl with a gentle quiet nature and also has a beautiful coat, she will be the most wonderful addition to any lucky family once her confidence has returned. She is getting better day by day and so much more confident now that when she first arrived a few weeks ago.
Ursula is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. She also has a full EU passport. We would like to find Ursula a home with no small children and not a multiple dog home perhaps one or two others she can learn from, or as an only dog.
