Ursula is a 4 year old female Bichon Frise . As an ex-breeder Ursula is a very quiet girl, aged four and being fostered in RCT, South Wales. She loves sitting on your lap for a cuddle and will happily stay there all day. She also loves her food. Ursula is getting her used to life as a pet. She is a great little dog who will make a great addition to a family who will give her that bit of extra time to realise that all humans are not scary. Ursula loves all humans and would be great with sensible, gentle children. She loves to cuddle. As an an ex-breeding bitch Ursula gets on with all dogs big and small and would need at least one brother or sister to teach her how to be a pet. Ursula is not tested on cats but she is a calm little girl and should be okay.
Ursula could be left for a few hours as long as she had another dog for company. She has been crate tested but doesn’t need to be in a crate as she’s not destructive at all. Ursula has never played with toys and she is not quite sure what to do with them. This is fairly typical of ex-puppy farm dogs and this will change as she gets more confident but, at the moment, she prefers a cuddle on the sofa. Ursula has a cataract and is scheduled to see a specialist soon. Ursula has no idea how to walk on a lead and this is a work in progress. All new sights and sounds are a source of trepidation for Ursula at the moment and her introduction to the wide world should be done in a controlled way.
Ursula would fit into a huge range of homes. She’s great with children and other pets and would suit a quiet family who have the time she needs to adapt. She’s a fab girl who just wants to be loved.
Ursula is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Rhondda, South Wales
