Vinny

Vinny is a Sensitive little lad with a very sharp mind, he is a cross-breed aged between 6-12 months. Vinny can get anxious easily. He is very affectionate with people, but if allowed, he may be clingy and could overbond.

He needs owners who will reassure him without making him needy, and encourage him to stand on his own four feet. Bright and active youngster, Vinny must be provided with the right form of mental stimulation.

His owners will have to approach his issues with consideration and care, and must have the time to dedicate to him. Advice on how to approach Vinnys problems will be discussed by the Behaviour Unit with any new owners.

He has an active but calm household with a solid routine. 2or 3 adults to prevent overbonding. Owners who have owned sensitive dogs before will be a bonus

Vinny could live with sensible teenagers, who understand his personality and are willing to follow guidelines, depending on experience

Vinny will need a house with access to a private fenced garden for chill out time and training. Unfortunately a flat would not be suitable as Vinny can be vocal

Vinny will need easy access to calmer exercise areas and these would ideally be placed in a semi rural or rural location Not be left alone at all to start with, as Vinny will suffer from isolation anxiety

Ideally, Vinny will live with another dog, mature and outgoing, preferably a female Vinny is at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home London.
