Waldo – 10 month old male Whippet cross Collie

Waldo is a black and white Whippet cross Collie male aged approximately 10 months old who has come to us via a stray pound. He’s not huge – about 22 inches and of slender build. He’s obviously has an injury to his front left foot at some point as it sticks out at an angle but he’s walking on it okay so it would seem to be an old injury.

He has been vaccinated, neutered etc. He seems okay with other dogs and is steadfastly ignoring the cats. He’s quite vocal when left, but that could be because he’s only just arrived. He can be a bit nervy when scared, so no very young children around in any potential homes.

He’d be best going into a home with an older, steady dog or bitch to remind him to mind his manners and an owner who will be “firm but fair” with him, because he’s one of these dogs who would be a nightmare if he became a spolit brat ! He loves his cuddles and likes sleeping on your lap.

Thinking about adopting a dog?- How about if we gave you some free dog food to make life easier?

Highly recommended if you’re thinking of adopting a dog:- Compare dog insurance policies and make sure your idea of the cheapest dog insurance isn’t mistaken for the best dog insurance!
