Wendy – 1 year old female Pug cross Beagle

Wendy is a one-year old Pug cross Beagle who is being fostered in Bridgend, South Wales. She is lovely and active little girl who is full of energy and life. She loves a tummy tickle and to play ball and often gets her lip stuck under her front teeth so looks a bit grumpy! Regular activities and stimulation are needed for this little bundle of energy and she walks the legs off her foster family.

Wendy is happy around people but can be wary when first approached until a relationship is established. Wendy is good with children of all ages. She can jump up at kids but responds well to verbal correction. Wendy is well socialised with all types of dogs but unfortunately can get very possessive over toys when around other dogs. She loves to play with dogs in the park but she likes her own space at home. She has been cat tested and isn’t cat friendly.

Wendy is house trained and can be left alone for short periods with no issues. She is happy in a crate. Wendy can be destructive with her toys but ignores household goods and furniture. She is not fearful of the noise of normal household life. Wendy is very good out and about and walks to heel on a slip lead. Wendy would suit an active home where she would be an only dog. She requires a lot of exercise otherwise she gets destructive and misbehaves. She likes to be the centre of attention and loves playtime and tickles.

Wendy is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Bridgend, South Wales.
