Willow (Daphne) – 6 year old female Beagle

Willow is a 6 year old female Beagle. She is no longer required for breeding so is now looking for her forever home. She has lived her life outside in kennels so knows little of life in the home as a much loved pet. She is a very sweet girl and thankfully is not as nervous as many. Willow walks well on her lead, she is nervous of traffic understandably. It will just take her time to adjust and get Used to all the new sights and sounds.

Willow traveled well in the car and was clean and quiet. We do not know what she is like with cats but she is fine to be re homed with another dog, she does have the potential to be re homed as an only dog provided that new owners are experienced with Beagles and around for most of the day. As we have limited history for Willow she cannot be re homed with young children, older sensible teenagers would be fine.

Willow will be neutered, have her first vaccination, micro chipped and be up to date with flea and worming treatment. She is currently on foster in Southampton Hampshire.

*Update October 2017*

Willow has blossomed in foster care and is a really sweet lady. She is looking for new owners who are around for most of the day and at least one other similar sized resident dog. It may be possible for Willow to be re homed as an only dog provided that she was not left for prolonged periods. She is clean in the house and travels well in the car. Willow may look older than her years but life has not been kind to her until now. She has previously been used as a breeding dog living outside. Willow is a wonderful lady who deserves the very best home where she will be treasured forever.
