Winnie – 4 year old female Labrador

Winnie is a lovely, gentle 4 year old yellow Labrador who has had lots of pups in her life. She had a litter very recently but, very sadly, she accidentally crushed them all to death, poor Winnie is massively overweight and the vet said she would not have realized she was squashing them. She is extremely shy and timid as she most likely was born and lived her whole life on the isolated farm she has just come from. She panics on a lead. Is too scared to move if anyone new is around etc.

She has shown no aggression and is living very happily with several other dogs. Winnie weighed 44 kilograms when she first arrived here last week. The vet said she should weigh 28 kilograms, or 30 kilograms max. So you can she how overweight she is. This lovely lady needs a great, sensible forever home where there is at least one other similar dog to help her. She will make a great friend to the whole family.
