Yogi – 2 year old male Akita Cross
This is Yogi, a cute 2 year old Akita Cross looking for a new home due to his owners being forced to leave their property. An energetic, fun and playful dog, who spends most of his time outdoors, Yogi wore out assessor playing football and tug! Having a basic knowledge of commands, Yogi will sit when asked, however he is more reluctant to lie down! On the lead Yogi pulls initially in excitement, but soon settles down to a good pace. Our assessor found yogi to be responsive to commands and correction, and feels that he would respond well to further training in a new home.
Lovable and friendly, Yogi currently lives with two small children who he adores and could live with children again with the right family. Socialised with some dogs, Yogi gets on well with his neighbours Jack Russel, with this in mind Yogi could potentially live with another dog, subject to successful introductions. Yogi’s owner is sad to be in this position, and describes Yogi as a dog who wants to “share the love”! Has Yogi caught your eye? Please get in touch.
