This is the wonderful Yoko, he is a Welsh Terrier cross. He was found wandering and they contacted his original owners who said they sold him and the new family didn’t want him back. He went to the pound where he was due to be put to sleep. He does not get along with other dogs and he is 9 years old so they felt he was not going to be taken by a rescue. In fact, we were contacted as his last hope. We took one look at that face and fell in love. We believe every dog deserves a chance at a life, and more so for dogs like Yoko.
Yoko is 9 years old, he was a ‘pet’ but we don’t know much about his past. He does not like other dogs and must have a dog free home. He is a Terrier at heart so this will also include small furries. He loves people and has done well in all sorts of situations. He really needs a home that will give him a deserving retirement.
We are working with a Behaviourist and will offer support to the new family about managing his dog interactions and also walking on lead. He is currently in Kennels in SE London and we feel it is a stressful environment and we would consider a foster with view to adopt.
All our dogs were once sweet puppies, but have been failed by people, we believe that they are worth saving and we are always proven right. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and with Passport. If you feel you would like to give Yoko a family, please go to our website and complete a Questionnaire.
