Yoshi – 11 year old male Cocker Spaniel cross Poodle (Cockerpoo)
Yoshi is an 11 year old Cocker Spaniel cross Poodle (Cockerpoo) and is currently on foster in Cardiff, South Wales. Although he is 11 years old Yoshi still has a lot of life left to live. A lovable, affectionate dog who loves human company, although we think probably best in a mature household or a home with older children who will respect his age.
Yoshi agrees with Hopes neutering Policy and does not like entire dogs, he does however like neutered dogs, sometimes a little too much and will try to hump them when he meets them. So a dog that wont react to this until they have settled in together would be best.
His foster mum says that outside when he sees cats he wants to chase , but has met their cat (crated) in the home and seemed fascinated but not aggressive, so hopefully could be trained with an experienced owner and patience
His basic training is good, but recall will need a lot of work, and due to this and his dislike of entire dogs we would advise new owners not to let him offlead until these problems were sorted out. Yoshi is crate trained at night and settles to sleep easily when left for a short period.
All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family.
