Zoe – 1-2 year old female Cross-Breed
Zoe is a young female Crossbreed. She could possibly be crossed with something x Labrador as she has a very Labby face. Zoe is medium sized, slightly smaller than a Labrador. Zoe has been in our care so long she has given up hope of anyone ever wanting to offer her a loving new home, we want to prove her wrong. Zoe does not present herself well as she can be quite turned off to affection and shows little interest in people, this in turn has proved her downfall as most people are looking for a spark between themselves and a potential new friend. She can also be hit and miss on her doggy friends, she gets on well with her kennel mate and would need introductions to any new potential canine friend or a home as a only dog.
Zoe loves her walks and can be quite strong on her lead, this can be helped with the aid of a halti.
We believe Zoe has the potential to be a loving girl, she just needs that special someone to show her cuddles is good.
UPDATE: FROM ONE OF OUR VOLUNTEERS.

When i first met Zoe she was a timid girl who would shy away from you, because of this she was constantly overlooked in the kennels, after some time at the kennels i met Zoe again, this time she had gained loads of confidence, she walked high and loved going out and about exploring, she was still quite tuned out to affection and i don’t think she had experinced much of it before coming into the kennels, so people still over looked her.

Recently i got to take Zoe for a walk, i was so surprised how far she has come due to the dedication of the rescue’s volunteers, she still loves going out for walks and exploring but she will come back to you, have a cuddle and generally engages more with her handler. Zoe has come so far she has so much to offer she just needs that one person now to give her a chance.
