Alba is a medium to large sized 6 year old female Cross-Breed. She is one of the many dogs saved in February 2016 from the Public Shelter. When she was first saved Alba had distemper. It was advanced to the 4th stage, the last phase, which thankfully she recovered from following a year long treatment. She has been left with a noticeable tremor but this doesn’t affect her at all.
Despite her time in the Public Shelter, Alba is simply a super sweet pup, she loves to play and spends most of her day engaging with Haiduc causing mischief and sharing toys with him.
We would be happy to rehome Alba into a home with children of 8 years and upwards. She could happily live with a laid back gentle dog who could be a good companion for her. We are unsure how she is with cats, and at this time are unable to assess so would be looking for a cat free home.
Alba has proven her lovable nature and is now looking for the perfect home. Someone who can take the time to ensure she is fully toilet trained – Alba is one of our shelter dogs so has likely never lived in a home before. Likewise she has never walked on a lead and harness before so her adopters should be willing and able to work on this from her arrival.
Being super smart and willing to work for treats, Alba will breeze through her required training classes once she is settled into her forever home. If you would like to offer our girl her forever home, then please complete the adoption application form and someone will contact you.
