Amos is a 7 year old male Cross-Breed. He was rescued a year ago from a public shelter in Romania. He has been in a private shelter ever since. During his time at the private shelter Amos was unfortunately tested positive for heartworm.
This is a common condition in foreign dogs but he has been in treatment and when adopted will go out with pills that he needs to take once a month for the next year. At this point he will be cured and no further treatment will be needed, there will be no financial costs to his adopter.
Amos is such a sweet old gent, too shy to ask for fuss and attention at the moment but grateful to receive it when it comes his way. It’s quite sad how little expectations he has in life, he’s never had anything to call his own and he’s yet to learn that his future simply will not be that way.
Amos gets on well with other dogs, he enjoys his walks but needs to grow in confidence as he truly has been shut away from life for so long.
The future for Amos is looking rosy, he really doesn’t know it yet but we are determined to find him a family who will spoil him rotten for the rest of his days. Amos fostered Gorleston Norfolk.
