Andy is a 15 month old male Cross-Breed. He came into us due to a relationship break-up. He has a very loving character but also has a lot of energy. Andy loves to play with his toys, go out on walks and also enjoys a good run around in our compound.
He needs a lot of mental stimulation to keep his brain active and occupied. Due to his age, he can become excitable at times and will mouth and jump up. Like any rescue dog, you will need to keep in mind that you may need to work with a behaviourist or dog trainer to meet Andy’s needs and to further your own knowledge.
He is a sweet boy with a lot to give, he just needs a little help with his manners. He is also going through adolescence.
Due to Andy being in the kennel environment he has become more excitable/anxious recently and because of this, we feel Andy needs to be rehomed as an only dog at this moment in time.
Andy would be best suited to live with older teenagers and will need a calm and patient owner. Adopters will need to be willing to chat to the behaviourist that has recently been working with Andy so they will be able to continue the training programme with him.
