Meet Angela — a true angel of a dog, and what’s in a name!
Angela is a 8 year old Grand Basset Griffon Vendéen.
After spending some time in a shelter, we took Angela under our wing, and she is now safely staying with one of our regular foster families in Spain.
She has settled in beautifully and is ready to find her forever home. Angela gets along very well with all the other dogs at her foster home and also tolerates cats.
She is now ready to travel, so if Angela is the dog you have been waiting for, please don’t wait too long.
Angela is approximately 8 years old, with an estimated date of birth of 1 June 2018 according to the shelter veterinarian. She is a female Grand Basset Griffon Vendéen, possibly a mix, standing approximately 46 cm tall and weighing around 18 kg.
She is house-trained, gets along well with other dogs and can live with cats. She cannot currently be tested with small children, although Griffons are generally known to interact well with children, so this would need to be considered on an individual basis.
Angela has tested negative for five Mediterranean diseases and brucellosis. She is microchipped, has an EU pet passport, is spayed, fully vaccinated and her parasite treatments are up to date.
Her new home must have a secure, fenced garden with fencing appropriate for her size, so please allow for a height of around 150 cm.
Angela has already been through enough and now deserves a loving, safe and permanent home where she can enjoy the rest of her life surrounded by people who will cherish her.
Could you be the person who gives this very special girl the happy ending she deserves?
