Anna is a 10 year old, black coated English Cocker Spaniel. In her previous home, she had apparently found it difficult to deal with the owners’ young grandchildren, and this possible jealousy led to her clining to her grandmother. She had always been an only dog, however, since coming to the rescue, she has been fostered alongside three other dogs and behaved well with all of them.
To begin with, she was anxious in her new environment, but now she is back to her old self: affectionate, and always happily greeting people with a wagging tail. Anna does not require a lot of exercise, but she does enjoy walks around town or off of the lead in the countryside. She is also good in the car and can be left alone for reasonable amounts of time, although she does like company. In the past, she has slept in a basket in her owner’s bedroom, but now she spends the night with the other dogs in the living room.
Anna will require some weight management, but she will make a lovely companion in a home without young children.
