Annie – 5-6 year old female German Shepherd Dog

Annie is a 5-6 year old female German Shepherd Dog. She is flead and wormed. Little pocket rocket Annie has come into CGSR from another rehoming centre. They have rightly decided that breed specific rescue is the correct path for her. She has been rehomed and returned a couple of times from the previous rescue, so her next one needs to be her furever home. Annie is going through rehab with us as she does have several bad habits. Pulls like a train, mouths hard, jumps up in your face, reactive to dogs on lead. She knows basic commands, she is now having to learn boundaries. The mouthing and jumping for food and toys has already improved. Annie is very vocal meeting other dogs and mirrors their energy and reaction. She needs a calm, experienced owner that will not let her be the boss. Once she realises that you are not a pushover, she is fairly responsive and quite affectionate.

GREAT NEWS! This Dog Has Now Been Rehomed
Thanks to good people like yourself who use dogsblog.com on a daily basis, this dog has now found a new, permanent loving home. There are more dogs still looking though…

Allow us to find your new PERFECT canine friend with our dogsblog.com matchmaker service. Enter your details below to receive a tailored, hand-picked list of available dogs for adoption…

We will not place Annie with children, cats or small furries. She could live with another male dog, but he would have to be low energy and careful introductions are required.

Annie’s next home needs to be her last as she’s obviously not had the boundaries in place & training needed as a youngster. She will go out on a neutering contract.
