Abandoned in the local pound, Apollo became anxious, stressed, and began losing weight. So, we stepped in to help him.

This is his wish list:

  • NO CATS or small furries/chickens.
  • Malinois experience is preferred, but experience with other big/working breeds may also be considered.
  • He needs an active home and is happy to be a working dog. He enjoys it and is very focused.
  • NO KENNELS! Apollo gets very stressed in kennels and loses weight.
  • He can live as an only dog if he has people around, but if he were to live with another dog, you would need space to separate them during introductions. Apollo can resource guard, so no treats/toys unless in separate areas.
  • He LOVES people, which is another reason kennels are not suitable for him. He likes to be around his humans.

Potential adopters need to be prepared to work with Apollo. He is very ball-focused, learns quickly, loves his food, and is good in the house.

Apollo is 2 years old, neutered, chipped, vaccinated, and negative for Mediterranean diseases. He is currently in Malaga, Spain but can travel. RBU (Rescue Back-Up) in place.
