April is a 4 year old female Spanish Greyhound (Galgos). She was rescued in 2018 and was very scared to begin with. She has shown great courage and has overcome her fear of humans with the help of the volunteers and she is ready to begin the next chapter in finding her forever home. She will need to live with another hound. As you can see, April is such a gorgeous girl with a sweet pink nose and there is such gentleness in her eyes.
Her foster Mum says, “She is a dream to be honest. Respectful of my old boy, leaves him alone so I would say good at reading other dogs’ signals. Fine to be left although I always walk them before leaving them so they just sleep. Another dog is a must in my opinion. She adores my dog Willow and gets confidence from her. Clean 95% of time. Not at all lead reactive, quite opposite she stands back and watches when there are other dogs, more shy than anything. Adores walks, we get tail wags and play bows when I get lead. Eats well, no resource guarding. Doesn’t pull on lead. Still a little bit nervous but has come on in leaps since being in a home and feeling safe.”
