This gorgeous pup was another unclaimed stray at risk.

April is a 9 month old female Lurcher Cross.

She has been in foster for a while and is ready to look for her forever home.

This is what her carer has to say:

“Meet April. She’s a 9 month old Lurcher cross, 90% absolute sweetheart, 10% mischievous puppy. Full of energy, loves to run, loves to play, should perhaps have been named Tigger (bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, fun fun fun fun fun). She’s great with all the basic commands (sit, down, stay, fetch, heel).

A little nervous of fast-moving traffic, but walks really well on the lead, and would make a great running companion. She’s crate trained, and could be left for a couple of hours as long as she’s had a good run. She can live with other dogs, but it would be best if they have as much energy as her and love to play.

She’s currently going to doggy day care once a week to help with her socialisation, and they’ve said she’s doing really well and has made lots of friends.”

April will need someone home the majority of the time, can be homed with dog respectful children 8+. Not cat tested.
