Hi everyone! My name is Arnie and I am year old female Rottweiler cross Bull Mastiff. Unfortunately my owners working hours have changed and they can no longer give me the time I deserve. I am going to stay with my family until a new home can be found. I am currently in East Grinstead RH19. I have been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. I absolutely love people and do need some training to teach me to keep all 4 paws on the floor when someone new comes to the house.
I sometimes get over excited and mouth a little but I’m learning not with consistent reminders! I am quite strong on the lead and can get over excited at the start of a walk! If I see another dog on a walk who is calm and placid. I remain calm and placid too. If the other dog is playful and excitable then it’s game on! I love a good game and I’m just a bit of a big lump who doesn’t really know his own size!! I can be a little OTT for small dogs but I don’t mean to be!
My recall needs some work but I do respond better for a treat and when I’m walked with other dogs with my dog walker. I currently live with 2 cats but I do find them rather intriguing and am much more respectful of the one who puts me in my place! I also live with an 8 year old hooman and whilst I adore her I have accidentally knocked her over a few times in my excitement but haven’t hurt her so I would prefer older dog savvy children in my new home. I am used to being left for around 4 – 5 hours each day and I am house trained. I am used to travelling everyday in the dog walkers van. I have no possession issues around food or toys.
Here’s what my current family say about me. Yes he is a big boy and clumsy at times but Arnie is also extremely soppy, cuddly, loving and very gentle. He is very playful and will definitely give you plenty of laughs and fun filled memories as he has done with our family. He loves to sit on the couch chomping on a bone, playing tug of war and running after balls.
Despite his size, he is still a puppy and still learning his way in life so please do not let that put you off as you will be missing out on a very special, 1 in a million young boy.
If you are fortunate enough to take Arnie on, you will not be disappointed as he is the best boy ever and will bring you untold joy and happiness.
We are extremely devastated with the decision we have had to make, but this is what’s best for Arnie. He will always have a special place in our hearts and will be dearly missed.
If you are looking for larger, goofy friend who has tons of love to give in return for good exercise and training hen look no further!
