Arwen – 2 year old female Doberman

Arwen is a 2 year old female Doberman. She is currently looking for a foster home. We ask that applicants live within an hour of the centre. He is a stunning Doberman who was sadly handed into the centre as a stray so unfortunately, we do not have any history. She has sadly been used for breeding at some point, but now we want to make sure that she gets all of the time and TLC that she deserves.

Although she loves snuggles and attention once she knows you, she can be initially worried around new people and places so would be best suited to a quieter household where she can settle at her own pace. She will need her new family to be around for most of the day to reassure her of her new surroundings and will require access to a secure, private garden.

Arwen loves her toys here at the centre and will happily play fetch and tug. She is a smart girl who already knows a few basic commands and picks new things up quickly, she would adore a family who is able to continue her training to build her confidence and engage her clever brain.

When Arwen isn’t learning new tricks and playing with her toys, she loves to have a fuss and neck scratches on the sofa with her human friends. She is such a loving and attentive dog, we really want to find her a patient family that will take the time to build her confidence in people again.

As Arwen was brought into us as a stray we are unsure of her history around other animals so are looking for a home without other pets. It would seem that she has missed out on some socialising when it comes to other dogs so would benefit from some walking pals once settled. Sensible older children could be considered depending on introductions done at the centre.

As mentioned above, Arwen is currently looking for a foster to adopt home, as we want to ensure this gorgeous girly lands straight on her paws in her forever home.
