Aspen is a 6 month old male Husky Cross. He’ll grow to be labrador size. Aspen and his 4 siblings were rescued from the Macedonian streets with their mother. Their mum gave birth outside in the pouring rain. A few shop workers around the area where she gave birth had been feeding her, but the temperature dropped and they desperately needed to be taken off the streets.

Their mum is a mixed breed who is a little larger than a dachshund and their father is a Husky. We know this as one of the local shopkeepers, to where their mother was continuously fed, takes his unneutered Husky with him to work, and sadly lets him roam.
Words from Aspen’s foster mum: “Aspen is a very playful puppy, he loves tug toys and chasing balls! In the short time of being with me, he’s learned sit, down, paw and touch. He’s learning to like attention but needs lots of gentle slow and steady encouragement. He’s very food motivated and quite happy to work for food so will be a very trainable puppy when he builds his confidence up.
He doesn’t like people walking toward him and prefers you to go low and come to you in his own time which we’ve been working on. He’ll happily hop onto the sofa and let you fuss him when he gets to know you. He’s toilet trained and sleeps in his bed happily in the evening.
He hasn’t been walked yet because he’s scared of the lead and harness which we’ve been working hard on and is now able to walk around the garden with us but a new family will need to be very patient about taking him out. He’s full of character and a real goofy puppy, he’ll make you laugh with his little outbursts of energy and invitations to play with him.
With a patient gentle family, he will do amazingly well and blossom into a wonderful dog.“ Must be homed with a resident dog, can be homed with cats (with training), and children. Vaccinated, microchipped & RBU. At least 5-foot-high secure garden/area fencing is required. He can be homed anywhere in the UK.
