Bark is a 1-2 year old male Lurcher. He is approximately 25kg. Bark will be up to date with all vaccinations, and treatments and fully health checked and neutered before rehoming.
Bark is superb with all dogs, big/small/male and female. He is the perfect gentleman on the lead.
Bark is the house clean, and is fabulous in the home but is at his most content when he has a human in the home with him but will need time to settle in and build up to being left for periods.
Bark loves his day trips out, settles happily in pubs/coffee shops with his friends and has happy travels in the car.
Bark loves his routine at bedtime and loves coming home to his bed. What Bark is looking for in his forever home?
Bark adores his doggy friends and has lived with a group here at rescue HQ and is in foster with a lovely little female.
Bark has not been assessed as an only dog. He loves to cuddle and be close to his doggy friends so at the time of assessment we feel a doggy friend would enhance his life.
Bark’s biggest love in life is being with his people, he bonds hard and fast and would like a family where someone is around most of the time/works from home/retired.
Although Bark shows potential for off-lead in the future, this is not a given and will take time, training and a lot of commitment.
So a home with lead preferences and access to secure areas would be preferable at this stage of assessment. Bark will need a secure Lurcher-proof garden.
Bark cannot be homed with cats. Bark has been assessed around children 8+ so is family-friendly and applications will be assessed individually.
Bark is based in Berkshire and at least TWO meet and greets (First with the whole family) will be required.
The process is an application, home check, and vet references and only then will a first no-pressure meet and greet be booked to avoid disappointment.
As always we are continually assessing our dogs so at any time their requirements may change to what would best suit their needs as we learn more about them.
