Barry is a 2-3 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier. This handsome boy is searching for his forever home. Barry has a lot of love to give.
Barry came into our centre emaciated, but through the love and care of our staff, Barry is now a healthy weight and loving life.
Barry had not received any basic training before coming to us and is essentially a puppy in an adult dog’s body.
This means he can be quite mouthy when over-excited, although he has improved, he will need ongoing training with this.
Barry loves his walks but can be strong on the lead. He loves to be constantly on the go and would much rather play than curl up on the sofa for a snuggle.
If you are a Staffy fanatic or you just love a crazy dog, Barry is the boy for you! He will need an active household that enjoys long, quiet walks.
Barry does not cope well in busy environments, therefore Barry needs a home with somebody who lives alone or as a couple.
There are to be no other pets in the home, and no children living in the house or any visiting children.
Barry is available for rehoming through RSPCA Craven, however, he is located at our RSPCA Lancashire East Branch in Altham.
There is an adoption fee of £175. She is microchipped, spayed, and fully vaccinated and she is up-to-date with flea and worming treatments. Home checks apply, multiple meets will be required, and post-adoption support is offered.
