Bart, a 9 and a half-year-old male Podenco and Ibizan Hound cross, and Amora, a 12-year-old female Bullbreed cross, are an inseparable pair seeking a new home together.

With a strong bond developed over six years, first in a kennel and later in a UK home, Amora is a gentle, affectionate dog with a black and white coat, while Bart is a timid boy with a short tan coat, part Podenco and Ibizan Hound mix.

Both dogs, used to a large garden and living in their annexe, require an experienced home following the recent passing of their owner. Amora has a touch of arthritis, and DogwatchUK will cover her pain relief for life.

The pair is good on a lead but hasn’t had much lead work recently. Integration into family life, gentle walks, and a preference for no small children under 15 are essential for their well-being.

In a foster home in Solihull, West Midlands, Bart and Amora are adapting well to changes, responding positively to gentle walks and family interaction. While no information is available about their compatibility with cats, Amora may bark at some dogs during walks.

Both dogs are gentle and amenable, eager to please. Neutered and in good condition, Amora’s stiffness is managed with Matacam, funded by DogwatchUK for life. There is no adoption fee for the right home for this devoted pair.
