Bella is a 2-4 year old female Cross-Breed. She has just arrived in foster and is a little nervous. No barking, no food issues, clean in the house and sleeps all night. Although Bella has improved in the house (eg – she is okay with the TV on and has got more used to noises and will now get in her bed) she is still on edge and does get stressed in the garden at noises (and particularly when the neighbours come out) but she has only been in a home for one week so early days. She is 24 inches long and 23 inches high.
Bella will come to me and my daughters to be stroked but she keeps her head low and still, she is still scared of my partner although there is improvement, but she does not want to make eye contact. If I go out, when I come home she backs away but then warms to me again after a few minutes.
I don’t think Bella is ever going to be a confident, outgoing girl but I do think she will become more confident than she is now with the right person/s and in the right quiet environment.
Bella is such a dear, sweet soul and whatever horrors that may have happened to her in the past, she deserves a chance as this dog has not got a bad bone in her body. Currently in Bristol.
