Bella and Bailey – 8 and 9 year old female Yorkshire Terriers

Bella and Bailey are 8 and 9 year old female Yorkshire Terriers. They came into our care due to a change in their owner’s work hours resulting in them being left alone for long periods throughout the day.

They are both very friendly and affectionate. They are well bonded and so we will be looking for a home where they can stay together. She is the more outgoing of the two, Bella can be timid to begin with but soon comes over for a fuss. She loves to roll over onto her back for tummy rubs.

She also enjoys playing with toys but can be a little possessive if she feels that you are going to take these away. They can have toileting accidents in the home and will need some patience with this.

She has recently received treatment for an ear infection, she also underwent dental surgery where she needed 12 teeth removing. They are otherwise in good health. Bella and Bailey would benefit from a quiet home with someone around for most/all of the day.

They would be best suited living with calm, sensible children aged 12+. They appear to be sociable with other dogs and could potentially live with a cat.
