Bella Boo – 8 year old female Shar-Pei

Bella Boo is an eight year old female Shar Pei who arrived at Mayhew because her previous owner moved to a property which didn’t allow pets. She’s a sensitive soul, it can take her a while to build attachments with new people but once a bond has been built she becomes very affectionate and is extremely loyal.

She’s calm and well-behaved but doesn’t cope with being left home alone so she’s looking for a committed and understanding owner who is at home during the day and will give her the time and space to settle in. She’s looking for a home with someone who has, as an adult, independently owned dogs before and is knowledgeable about dog behaviour and can read their body language.

Any children in her home will need to be over the age of sixteen years. She copes well with being left home alone for a couple of hours on the occasional basis but she isn’t suitable to be left home alone for long periods.

Bella Boo will make a fantastic companion for the right owner, she’s very affectionate once she gets to know you, she’s intuitive, calm and is great company.

Bella Boo has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with flea & worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed. Bella Boo is currently living in a foster home until her new forever has been found.
