Benji – 6 month old male English Spaniel Springer cross Lurcher

Benji is a 6 month old male English Spaniel Springer cross Lurcher. He was born on July 2021 and he came to us due to his families allergies. Due to the families asthma Benji was kept primarily in the utility room, and was caged, so he is a little being in his manners, and does tend to leap all over everything and believes all he can reach has the potential to be his. However he is a smart cookie and is learning fast.

Benji has been well cared for and is in great condition. He is vaccinated, wormed etc as per the normal schedule. He will need to be castrated at between 12 and 18 months old, this will be the adopters responsibility, and a condition of adoption.

Benji has the gentle sweetness, and fabulously expressive eyes and ears of a Spaniel, and seems to have none of the prey drive of a Lurcher. He really is a lovely boy, gentle, friendly, sociable and has no terrible vices.

He loves children, and is great with other dogs too, of any age, sex or size. He does pull on lead, and that is a working progress, but he has made good progress already. He has a lovely recall.

Benji is at the Sanctuary near Kidwelly. Prospective adopters will need to be available, and able to travel to meet him, after home checks and references have been completed
