Bentley is a 2 year old male Brittany Spaniel Cross. Bentley arrived recently from Spain so he has his own passport. On the passport it states he is a Breton cross and we believe most likely Collie. He has beautiful dark chocolate markings and a wonderful tail. He was very nervous when he first came into foster so we have taken everything very slowly with him and his confidence increases daily. He needs lots of reassurance when a new situation arises and when meeting new people he likes to be given space to come round himself.
When he has gained your trust he is a very loving and affectionate boy. He is so gentle, very bright,a quick learner and eager to please. He is well behaved in the house and loves his own bed and home comforts. He is not a greedy dog and eats very slowly. He doesn’t mind household noises such as the hoover and will bark if anyone comes to the door.He has lived very happily with our springer and is friendly towards any dogs he meets on walks. He walks on the left hand side and does not pull on a lead. Bentley loves to run loose and his recall is good. He does not get into a car willingly so he has to be lifted in and then travels perfectly.
Ideally Bentley’s forever home will be a quiet one with no children under the age of twelve. He needs to have someone at home most of the day because human company will build up his confidence. He can be left for up to four hours, but, not on a regular basis. He needs someone who is prepared to spend time with him initially so he realises he can trust them and your reward will be a loyal, loving and happy boy. This boy so deserves to be happy in his forever home.
Bentley is neutered chipped vaccinated wormed and flead and adoption subject to meet and greet homecheck and adoption fee. Applications via forms section of website please.
