Bernice is a 5 year old female Bichon Frise. She is just the sweetest girl ever. She knows nothing of life in a home having been used for breeding but is adapting well. She will need new owners who are around for most of the day and Berni must be re homed with at least one other similar sized dog. She is the gentlest girl going and spends most of her time on her back waiting to have her tummy tickled or being stroked.
Berni is nervous but will come for a cuddle and loves to be touching you. As she has not lived in a home before, she will have accidents. Berni will learn hugely from being with another well balanced social dog. Her foster is working on her housetraining with her but there may be a few accidents as she settles in. She also is not used to walking on lead, again her foster will be working on this with her but training will need to continue in her new home.
As she knows nothing of life in the home any children should be older and able to understand when and why she may be fearful sometimes. Berni travels well in the car (crated) and has been clean in her crate overnight. A kind and positive approach are what Berni needs to enable her to move forward and learn all about life as a much loved pet.
Berni has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped she has also had a full dental and lost most of her teeth. Thankfully this hasn’t stopped her eating or winning people over with her great nature. She is currently being fostered in London W13. Home check and set donation applies.
