Betsy – 2 year old female Bulldog

Beautiful Betsy is a 2 year old female Bulldog. She has been living with her mum since birth but did have a little argument with her so the elderly lady thought it best for Betsy to find another home in case they had another argument and it was worse than this one. She felt at her age she could not cope with the two dogs not getting along. Betsy has been well cared for and well loved this has not been an easy decision for the lady to make.

Betsy was very nervous and scared in kennels so went out to foster quite quickly. This is what her foster mum has to say about her. “Betsy is a lovely affectionate girl. She walks beautifully on the lead, is happy meeting other dogs and puppies, and has been perfectly behaved with the children we’ve met. She has had a few little wee accidents in the house but is getting better and now starting to ask to go out. We take her out regularly and make a big fuss of her when she goes outside and that seems to be working although if it’s raining you have to go outside with her!

She wasn’t impressed with sleeping in her crate to start with but is now fine and snuggles in with her blanket and teddies. She likes nothing more than to sit on your lap (and lick your neck if you let her!) Or just sit next to you on the sofa. She is a charming little girl who may take a bit of time to settle but is very keen to please and loves her food. Oh and she’s fine with my cat.”
