Meet Betty! She is a Golden Retriever cross Standard Poodle who is looking for a new home. Betty is the only female of the three. She is cream in colour and very pretty. But, like the boys she is still very new to learning about the world, she is still not happy about walking alongside the road and would be best suited to a rural home.
Due to her size and nature we would recommend older children or an adult only home. She gets on well with other dogs, she currently boards with the 2 boys she came in with, but new dogs would need to be introduced carefully, she is vocal when she sees other dogs. She has not been cat tested yet. As Betty is only beginning her new life, she would benefit most form a quieter household and one that will be kind and patient to her learning. Everything will be new to her and she will need time and a sympathetic family to help her build good relationships and have good experiences.
Betty will need training in the home to help her adjust. It will all be very new to her and she will need slow introductions to new experiences and people that she can trust. She is a very sweet dog and bright, and putting lots of work in at the beginning to help her adjust will make her future life much easier and happier
This is our current assessment, the assessments are on-going as always, and although we temperament test our dogs in many situations, we can not know how they be when they arrive in your home, support is given as always be given by the trainer you are matched to.
