Bex and Precious are both very sweet but nervous dogs who have not had the best start in life. They were very shut down when they first arrived at Mayhew and although they’ve slowly started to come out of their shells, they still have a long way to go. They’ll need a patient owner who will give them plenty time to settle in and will work on building their self-confidence at their pace.

Bex and Precious are looking for a calm and quiet household with someone who has, as an adult, independently owned dogs before, ideally nervous types. Once settled they should be okay to be left home alone for a couple of hours on the occasional basis.

They will need direct access to a private garden. They wouldn’t be suitable to live with other pets or children. They have been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and are also up to date with flea & worm treatment.

They have also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
