Bico – 8 month old male Cross-Breed

Bico is an 8 month old male Cross-Breed who was abandoned in Northern Spain last week. The dog catchers were called and that’s how he ended up in the pound. He is a medium-large size dog, weighing around 28kg and looks like a cross of Pointer. He is really a gorgeous boy.

Bico is a very active and lively dog. He requires an active family who enjoys outdoor activities during each season and can give him the mental and physical stimulation he needs to grow up to a balanced and happy adult dog.

We are looking for an experienced family or person, who is committed with the decision of adopting a young and energetic dog with everything that this implies.

At the moment, Bico lives in a dog pound in Spain. We don’t know anything about his past and also don’t have any information about his skills. Therefore, his new home should be ready and happy to invest time in his training and education. His future family has to be aware that he is still a puppy, meaning that he will require patience and lots of and training both indoors and outdoors.

Bico hasn’t and also can’t be tested with cats, children or other kind of animals. The education of a puppy is time intensive and we want that dogs which require more time like Bico to be the priority. That is why we are looking for an adult only home or for families with older children who already have other dogs living at home and are used to living with them.

Bico is a social and friendly dog. He is good with other dogs, but can be quite pushy to other dogs trying to convince them to play with them. Therefore if there is already a dog at home, it would need to be one which has a similar energy level like him. Nevertheless, a four legged companion is not a requirement, if he gets enough dog interaction and time to play with other dogs on his walks or outdoor activities.

We want to find the best family for Bico, a family committed to help him and responsible with his care. Bico deserves a family that shows him love and that he will never be abandoned again. He has already packed his bags and cannot wait to travel and discover his new home in Wales or England (NOT Scotland) as soon as the right family or person comes forward.

If you have the time, love, stability and the commitment that he requires and want to share the next 14 years with him, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

TeLuMa’s Dream
For further details regarding adopting a dog from TeLuMa’s Dream, please email Marta, Jessica, Olga or Alicia at telumasdream@gmail.com or visit our website www.telumasdream.co.uk. We are a voluntary organization which rescues primarily dogs from a public pound in Galicia, in Northern Spain, where the dogs instead of living, are trying to survive. 99% of the dogs are strays or have been abandoned by their owners on the street. The dogs are a variety of breeds and come in all shapes and sizes! We are funded entirely by donations and work hard in our free time to help rescue and rehome as many dogs as possible. With your help we can continue our work and provide food, bedding, medical supplies and care for the dogs until they are well enough to find their forever homes. All dogs rehomed via TeLuMa’s Dream are microchipped, fully vaccinated, wormed, deflead and spayed/neutered if old enough, if not the adoption contract will stipulate that this is done as soon as old enough and this will be checked with your vet. We re-home dogs anywhere in the U.K. This means that you can apply if you have a U.K postal code. Our aim is to pair each dog with the right new owner, ensuring that it will be safe, cared for and loved for the rest of its life. Therefore all potential adopters will be asked to complete a questionnaire. Also a homecheck is carried out and a phone interview prior to adoption. We offer a full rescue back up service to all our adopters and post-adoption support, which includes a Facebook support group and free behavioral advice.
