Biddy – 2 year old female Greyhound

Biddy is a sweet little Greyhound girl who is just 2 years of age. She is a real fuss monster but that is due to being slightly shy and nervous. She is kennelled with Rankin and gets on well with him and we feel if someone was looking for a ready made pair they would be ideal as they are so bonded. Even though Biddy is slightly nervous she is nosey and inquisitive and loves to head out for her walks each day, noseying and sniffing and taking everything there is to offer in. Biddy does need to be rehomed with another dog and preferably a steady male greyhound to show her all there is about life and help her confidence grow. She will not be rehomed as an only dog.

[rehomed]

Biddy can be rehomed with dog savy children 6 years and upwards but NO cats. Out and about Biddy walks well on lead and we feel she will be easy to socialise with all breeds of dogs with safe and gentle introductions out on walks. Although Biddy is with us in kennels she works hard to keep her kennel area clean and will toilet as soon as taken out.

Biddy is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped and will be spayed and receive a dental before rehoming. Biddy is currently located in Stoke on Trent but can be rehomed nationally subject to a successful homevisit and all members of the immediate family and any resident dogs being willing to travel to meet with her.

We do feel with Biddy it would be best to stress that priority will be given to homes looking for a pair and willing to offer her and Rankin a home together as they do love each other and compliment each other massively. We are stressing that now so that anyone applying understands.

Greyhound Gap

Greyhound Gap is a small independent charity set up to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome greyhounds and lurchers who find themselves in a ‘put to sleep’ situation in UK pounds. Funded almost entirely by donations, we rehome around 150 dogs each year. We can have around 40-50 dogs at any one time in our kennels based in Kidsgrove, Stoke on Trent and a further 30-40 in foster homes. Greyhound Gap operates on a national basis so our dogs can be homed throughout the UK subject to a suitable home visit being carried out.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from Greyhound Gap, we would ask that in the first instance you could take a few moments to complete our pre-adoption questionnaire if you have not already done so: http://www.greyhoundgap.org.uk/our-dogs/pre-adoption-questionnaire
