Blaze loves going to the park and meeting new doggy pals but is still learning so will need continued training and socialisation to ensure his meets stay positive.

Blaze can be a little worried on street walks so needs a patient and understanding owner who will help build his confidence in this area.

Blaze also has a sensitive side and although generally excitable when meeting new people, can be nervous at times but quickly warms up given time, space and a few treats!

Blaze is looking for an experienced owner, knowledgeable in dog behaviour and body language, who will have the time, patience and commitment to be able to continue building his self-confidence and help him become the social, well-adjusted and happy dog he has the huge potential to be.

Blaze will make a fun, loving and rewarding companion in the right home.

Blaze’s adopter will be expected to continue his training and will receive 3 free sessions with our Mayhew Animal Behaviourist.

Blaze can live in a flat as long as there is direct access to a private garden. He can become stressed and vocal when left alone so is looking for a home where there will be someone at home most of the time, building up the time he is left gradually.

Blaze could live with sensible teenagers of 16+ provided they have lived with a dog before and will not be intimidated by his excitable and bouncy nature at times.

Whilst in our care Blaze has shown signs of mild allergic skin disease which included ears that were red and sensitive to touch, hair loss on the ear flaps and redness between the toes.

Blaze was changed to a veterinary prescription hypoallergenic diet and the skin returned to normal.

Blaze has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
